includes the collection of non-perishable food for disadvantaged families and individuals

Riviera’s Food Pantry project includes the collection of non-perishable food to assemble bags for distribution through the church office to disadvantaged families and individuals.  We also accept funds for supermarket gift certificates to distribute with the family bags for perishable items.

Other activities include providing food baskets or supermarket gift certificates during holiday seasons to families in the community in need of a helping hand. For more information or to donate food or funds, please contact Ellen Anderson,

Riviera’s Food Pantry Ministry will be distributing food bags on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon at the east entrance of the sanctuary.

 If you would like to shop for the food pantry the following items are needed: peanut butter, tuna, canned fruit, canned vegetables, canned soup, pasta sauce and pasta. Please, NO condiments, rice or beans at this time.

Donations can be dropped off at the church Fellowship Hall doors on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.  If you are ordering the food to be delivered please schedule them for Tuesdays or Thursdays.
